My name is Andreia Carvalho da Silva. I have a degree in Documentary Cinema, and I'm currently a Master's student in Cultural Sciences. I have been working as an image professional since 2013.
Alongside my professional career, I became a social activist in 2015, when I created the social movements "Projeto IDENTIDADE", "Catarse – Movimento Social", and "LGBT+ Vila Real".

I have been the president of an arts association since 2011, during which time we have created three film festivals, including one entirely dedicated to experimental cinema.
I am also part of the board of a Local Baldios Community in Trás-os-Montes.
My life is divided between Gaia, Vila Real, Lisboa, and the Alentejo region.
Among many other things I have done since 1990, I have worked in radio, owned a bar, and ran twice for the municipal executive in local elections.
The two projects that are worth checking out are Transmontanitos and Política de Bolso.
